Exposure to some funny stuff.

The other night 28 Truck was dispatched to a housefire with reported people trapped. First arriving units reported a 2 story dwelling fully involved extending to the exposure house. We arrived as 2nd due truck and took the exposure house. We found smoke throughout and fire in the attic. A ladder was thrown to vent the roof and the rest of us went inside to find an attic access.You would think that with such a large roof that the space would have been utilized. Nope. Not even a hatch. Just thought that was a little odd and in hindsight I wish we hadn't wasted as much time trying to find a set of stairs or even a hatch. But it's all good since we saved the second house.
